Caution

•  If only one of the front or rear adapters of the engine cover is pulled up, the adapters could be damaged. When removing the engine cover, pull up both of the front adapters or the rear adapters simultaneously.

Removal

1.  Pull up the front part of the engine cover and remove the front adapters from the rubber on the engine side in two locations at the same time.

2.  Pull up the rear part of the engine cover and remove the rear adapters from the rubber on the engine side in the two locations at the same time.

Installation

1.  Align the engine cover adapters with the rubber on the engine side.

Note

•  Align the oil filler cap and dipstick with the markings.

2.  Press the rear part of the engine cover and insert the rear adapters into the rubber in the two locations on the engine side at the same time.

3.  Press the front part of the engine cover and insert the front adapters into the rubber in the two locations on the engine side at the same time.
