Part Inspection

1.  Verify that the battery is fully charged. (See BATTERY INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

2.  Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals).

3.  Install a tester and battery to the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals) as shown in the figure.

4.  Verify that each cooling fan motor operates smoothly at the standard current.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the applicable part.

No.2: 4.1—8.1 A [12 V]
Cooling fan motor standard current [Cooling fan component type B]
No.1: 3.3—7.3 A [12 V]
