PURGE SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.6]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].)

2.  Disconnect the purge solenoid valve connector.

3.  Remove the evaporative hose.

4.  Remove the bolts shown in the figure and remove the bracket.

5.  Remove in the purge solenoid valve.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Purge Solenoid Valve Removal Note

1.  Remove the purge solenoid valve from the air hose with the evaporative hose.

2.  Remove the purge solenoid valve.
