MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/BOOST AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

Note

•  The MAP sensor is integrated with the boost air temperature sensor. When replacing the MAP sensor or the boost air temperature sensor, replace the MAP sensor/boost air temperature sensor.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the engine coolant reserve tank. (See ENGINE COOLANT RESERVE TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove the bolts.

4.  Remove the bracket.

5.  Disconnect the MAP sensor/boost air temperature sensor connector.

6.  Remove the screw.

7.  Remove the MAP sensor/boost air temperature sensor.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
