Resistance inspection

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Disconnect the fuel pressure relief valve connector.

4.  Inspect the resistance between fuel pressure relief valve terminals A and B.

Fuel pressure relief valve resistance (specification)
Approx. 0.47 ohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
•  If not within the specification, replace the common rail. (See COMMON RAIL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)
