DETECTION CONDITION
•  C006B:00
―  DSC control continues for a specified period of time or more
•  C0072:68
―  Due to excessive braking, TCS control using braking is temporarily inhibited.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
•  C006B:00
―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light, Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) warning light*1, and Smart Brake Support/Smart City Brake Support (SBS/SCBS) indicator light (amber)*1.
―  Tire pressure monitoring system warning light*1 illuminates after flashes.
―  Inhibits the TCS, DSC, TPMS*1, Secondary Collision Reduction (SCR)*1 Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC)*1, Smart Brake Support (SBS)*1, and Smart City Brake Support (SCBS)*1 controls.
•  C0072:68
―  Illuminates the TCS/DSC indicator light.
―  Inhibits the TCS (brake control) control.
*: If equipped.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•  This does not indicate a malfunction since constant TCS or DSC control over an extended period of time is inhibited to protect the DSC solenoid valve inside the DSC HU or the engine.

VERIFY THAT THE SAME DTC IS NOT PRESENT
•  Clear the DTCs from the memory.
•  Are the same DTCs present?
Yes
Replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
2
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCS ARE PRESENT
•  Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
