PARKING LIGHT BULB REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Note

•  The LED-type parking light (with discharge headlight system) cannot be replaced separately. If there is any malfunction in the LED, replace the front combination light as a single unit. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

Parking Light Bulb (LH)

1.  Turn the steering wheel to the right until it locks.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Slightly bend back the front mudguard (LH). (See MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  The bulb reaches high temperatures when illuminated. If there is oil or dirt on the surface of the bulb, excessive heat will build up and the life of the bulb will be shortened. When replacing the bulb, hold the metal flange, not the glass.

5.  Remove the parking light bulb.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Parking Light Bulb (RH)

MZR 1.6

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].)

2.  Turn the socket counterclockwise and remove it in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure.

Caution

•  The bulb reaches high temperatures when illuminated. If there is oil or dirt on the surface of the bulb, excessive heat will build up and the life of the bulb will be shortened. When replacing the bulb, hold the metal flange, not the glass.

3.  Remove the parking light bulb.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5, SKYACTIV-D 1.5, SKYACTIV-D 2.2

1.  Turn the steering wheel to the left until it locks.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)
