REAR ULTRASONIC SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [MZR 1.6].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the rear combination light. (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the rear bumper. (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Disconnect the connector.

5.  Pull the rear ultrasonic sensor in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the rear ultrasonic sensor tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, detach the rear ultrasonic sensor tab and bracket, and then remove the rear ultrasonic sensor from the rear bumper.

6.  Pull the bracket in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure while pressing the bracket tab in the direction of the arrow (1) shown in the figure, detach the bracket tab and rear bumper, and then remove the bracket from the rear bumper.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
