Radar sensor aiming adjustment not implemented

Detection condition
•  Radar sensor aiming adjustment is not performed
Fail-safe
•  Inhibits the mazda radar cruise control (MRCC) system control
•  Inhibits the smart brake support (SBS) system control
•  Inhibits the distance recognition support system (DRSS) control
Possible cause
•  Radar sensor aiming adjustment not performed
•  Radar unit which was used on a different vehicle is installed.
Note
•  If the ignition is switched off when an error occurs during the aiming adjustment command execution, a DTC is detected indicating that the aiming adjustment was not performed.
•  If the ignition is switched OFF in the middle of aiming, the radar unit may detect a DTC even if the radar unit power supply voltage is stable.

PERFORM THE RADAR SENSOR AIMING ADJUSTMENT
•  Perform the radar sensor aiming adjustment.
•  Was the aiming adjustment completed?
Yes
Go to the step 3.
No
If error code is displayed
•  Inspect/repair the error cause according to the error code and perform the radar unit aiming adjustment again.
•  Go to the step 3.
If the M-MDS screen suddenly closes during aiming
•  Go to the next step. (Radar unit power supply circuit and ground malfunction can be considered)

INSPECT CIRCUITS OF RADAR UNIT POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM AND GROUND
•  Inspect the circuits of the radar unit power supply system and the ground.
―  Open circuit, short circuit
―  Poor connection of ground point
•  Are the circuits and ground point normal?
Yes
Perform the aiming adjustment and then go to the next step.
No
After repairing the malfunction, perform the aiming adjustment and then go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Clear vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine on).
•  Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 3 min or more.
•  Perform the vehicle control module (V/C-module) DTC inspection using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the vehicle control module (V/C-module).
Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.
4
VERIFY THAT NO OTHER DTCs ARE PRESENT
•  Verify other DTCs displayed.
•  Are any other DTCs output?
Yes
Perform the corresponding DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
