DTC P0191:00 |
Fuel pressure sensor circuit range/performance problem |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The difference between the maximum and minimum value of the fuel pressure sensor output voltage in less than 0.0025 V and the difference between the actual fuel pressure and target fuel pressure relative to the feedback exceeds 5 MPa {51 kgf/cm2, 725 psi} for a continuous 1 s when the following conditions are met.
MONITORING CONDITIONS
Diagnostic support note
• This is an intermittent monitor (fuel system).
• The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in two consecutive drive cycles or in one drive cycle while the DTC for the same malfunction has been stored in the PCM.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available.
• DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
|
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
|
• PCM restricts engine torque.
• Inhibits the EGR control.
• Inhibits the diesel particulate filter regeneration control.
• Inhibits engine-stop by operating the i-stop function.
• PCM restricts engine-transaxle integration control.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Fuel pressure sensor connector or terminals malfunction
• PCM connector or terminals malfunction
• Fuel pressure sensor malfunction
• PCM malfunction
