COOLING FAN MOTOR INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

1.  Verify that the battery is fully charged.

2.  Remove the air cleaner. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals).

4.  Connect the cooling fan motor connector (2 terminals) and a tester as shown in the figure.

5.  Verify that cooling fan motor operates smoothly at the standard current.

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the cooling fan motor (See COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)
