TURBOCHARGER SOLENOID VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the battery and the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

•  Fresh-air duct

•  Air cleaner

•  Air hose

•  Air inlet pipe

•  Turbocharger air inlet hose

•  Blow-by heater

•  Breather hose

4.  Remove in the order shown in the figure.

1	Turbocharger solenoid valve connector
2	Vacuum hose No.1 (See Vacuum Hose No.1 Installation Note.)
3	Vacuum hose No.2 (See Vacuum Hose No.2 Installation Note.)
4	Turbocharger solenoid valve

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

1.  Install vacuum hose No.2 as shown in the figure.
