Note

•  When the drain plug is loosened for draining, the drain plug O-ring can be reused.

L.H.D.

1.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Loosen the drain plug for the lower part of the fuel filter.

3.  Drain the water.

4.  After draining the water, tighten the drain plug by hand sufficiently.

2.  Remove the battery and the battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Loosen the drain plug for the lower part of the fuel filter.

4.  Drain the water.

5.  After draining the water, tighten the drain plug by hand sufficiently.
