Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PART PROGRAMMING • Perform the start stop unit replacement and programming due to simultaneous replacement of start stop unit/PCM. (See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM-RELATED PARTS PROGRAMMING.)	—	Go to the next step.
2	PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY PCM MALFUNCTION • Clear the DTC for the immobilizer system using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM].) • Retrieve the immobilizer system DTCs using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM].) • Is the security indicator light: 23, DTC B10DA:62/P1260:00 displayed?	Yes	Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].) (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].) 2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED • Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC TABLE [IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM].)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
