INTRUDER SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-G 1.5, SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5].) (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)(See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Remove the front map light. (See FRONT MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector from the intruder sensor.

4.  While pulling the bracket in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the intruder sensor in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure, and detach the intruder sensor tabs from the bracket.

5.  Detach all the intruder sensor tabs from the bracket.

6.  Remove the short wiring harness.

7.  Remove the screws.

8.  Remove the bracket and intruder sensor.

9.  While pulling the bracket in the direction of arrow (3) shown in the figure, pull the intruder sensor in the direction of arrow (4) shown in the figure, and detach the intruder sensor tabs from the bracket.

10.  Detach all the intruder sensor tabs from the bracket and remove the intruder sensor.

11.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
