•  DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) internal malfunction

VERIFY RELATED SERVICE INFORMATION AVAILABILITY
•  Verify related Service Information availability.
•  Is any related Service Information available?
Yes
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available Service Information.
•  If the vehicle is not repaired, go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY DC-DC CONVERTER (i-ELOOP) MALFUNCTION
•  Clear the DTC for the DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) using the M-MDS.
•  Start the engine.
•  Leave for 1 min while idling with no electrical load.
•  Leave for 1 min while racing with high electrical load.(DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) terminal 3A voltage is 16 V or more)
•  Switch the ignition off.
•  Switch the ignition ON.
•  Retrieve the DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP), then go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 4.

PERFORM DTC INSPECTION AND VERIFY DC-DC CONVERTER (i-ELOOP) MALFUNCTION
•  Start the engine.
•  Leave for 1 min while racing with high electrical load. (DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) terminal 3A voltage is 18 V or more.)
•  Switch the ignition off.
•  Remove the service plug.
•  Wait for 2 min.
•  Reinstall the service plug.
•  Wait for 1 min.
•  Switch the ignition ON.
•  Retrieve the DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP) DTCs using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the DC-DC converter (i-ELOOP), then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
